There was a phase in the development of this business when we dealt with marine engines using the Subaru automotive engine as a base. This compact unit was a great replacement for larger engines which made more power but were so much heavier that their performance was actually much less than these great little power plants. A Link engine management system was fitted to them to replace the stock unit and all pieces fabricated to make this a turn-key unit.
